Capone's fantastic temperament and trainability are clearly inherited by his progeny. Across Australia it is known as "the Capone temperament" This allows his offspring to be ridden to success at the highest levels by amateur as well as professional riders.
Progeny consistently winning at national competitions. DJWTS 2009 is an excellent example of this! Capone clearly the leading sire at this competition where he performed better as a sire than any other imported warmblood or frozen semen sire. With winners or place getters in nearly every event including the jumping.
Capone is a fertile and prepotent sire. He is proven to cross well with all types of mares, an excellent example of this is "Belcam Cadel" the fabulous grey gelding winner of the 5YO at DJWTS 2009. His Dam is Arabian X Lipizzaner. This horse was described by test rider Dr Ulf Moller [PSI] as being "a real dressage horse of the future". Cadel scored higher than any other horse of the entire DWTS competition.
